About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for construction services to repair damages to the Ray Carroll Levee Unit in Missouri sustained during 2019 flooding events. The amendment updates specifications to include placing compacted fill into erosion areas, matching adjacent slopes and crowns, and seeding and mulching disturbed areas. It increases estimated fill quantities and seeded acreages. The amendment also replaces damage and site maps to update erosion limits. Offerors must acknowledge the amendment. The response due date is extended from October 16, 2020 to October 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM. The solicitation seeks furnishing equipment, labor, operators, supervision, quality control, supplies, materials and incidentals to perform earthwork, borrow and fill hauling, clearing debris, erosion and rut repair, levee surfacing, stone placement, drainage structure installation and rehabilitation, and turf establishment for compromised levee sections. The US Army Corps of Engineers Kansas City District is the issuing agency.
