About this file

This document appears to be the technical specifications for a front-mounted snow broom with airblast for airport/airfield snow control operations. The snow broom must be able to move light amounts of snow at speeds of 35 mph or greater, with a minimum snow density of 5-10 lbs/ft3. Key requirements include a two-person cab with vibration-isolated ROPS/FOPS, adjustable seating, heating/cooling, and extensive lighting and visibility features. The prime mover must be a minimum of 450 HP, with cold weather package, two-speed transfer case, and all-wheel steering capabilities. The snow broom is 18 feet wide with a 330 HP airblast engine. The document also outlines technical data and manual delivery requirements. This specification is related to a federal contract opportunity solicitation W912D0-24-Q-0004 for the purchase of one 45K reversible snowplow and one snow broom dedicated vehicle with airblast for Fort Wainwright Airfield.
