About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document for solicitation W912CM25Q0001 for de-icing materials, providing clarifications about delivery requirements and quantities. The document addresses three key questions: 1) There are no minimum purchase quantities - CLINs 0001-0004 represent immediate needs to be ordered upon award, while remaining CLINs will be ordered via modification when needed; 2) For CLIN 0001, tank truck delivery is required to pump liquid potassium formate into two existing 40,000 liter tanks at Clay Kaserne, with IBC container delivery not being acceptable; and 3) Forklifts will be available at the delivery location for unloading products under CLINs 0003 and 0004.
The document includes an image of an IBC (Intermediate Bulk Container) with a 1,000 liter capacity, though this delivery method was explicitly rejected in favor of tank truck delivery for the liquid potassium formate.

Q1. Could you please specify the minimum purchase quantity per order for each item?
A1. There are no minimum quantities listed. The quantities listed in CLINs 0001 through 0004 are an immediate need to be ordered upon award execution. The remaining CLINs will be ordered via a modification to exercise an option if/when the US Government has a need for those quantities.
Q2. CLIN 0001: Is a tanker truck required? Meaning is there a container on-site into which the liquid Potassium formate can be pumped? Alternatively, we can deliver the product in IBC containers (see below), each with a capacity of 1,000 liters.
A2. Yes, a tank truck is required. The liquid potassium format needs to be pumped into two (2) existing 40,000 ltr tanks located on Clay Kaserne. Deliver in 1,000 ltr IBC containers is not acceptable.
Q3. CLIN 0003 and CLIN 0004: Are forklift available on-site for unloading the products?
A3. Yes, forklifts will be available at the delivery location.
