Responses to Questions Received on 27 July 2018.
Q1. I have a few questions regarding the CCTV. I just looked over the PowerPoint drawings, I counted 63 fixed cameras and 9 PTZ which give the count to 72. There are supposed to be 80 total cameras correct?
A1. There are 80 cameras. Refer to written scope of work. There are additional fix cameras in outer stairwell doors (inside the building) that were not included in the layout.
Q2. For the CCTV server do you need it to be a redundant system? This will require at least two servers.
A2. No. do NOT need redundant system.
Q3. Will there be two locations one for each server or will they be stationed in the 1st floor room?
A3. One location. 1st floor room. Physical Security Office
Q4. If both systems are to be located in the same room, will there be two different power sources available? Can we use fiber to connect each floors and only use one electrical closet to stage all the cameras runs too, that way there is only one switch needed per floor?
A4. Only One system in 1st floor physical security office.
Q5. On the recording for the cameras is it 24/7 or by motion? I know you need 90 day retention.
A5. Recording 24/7 by motion if technology is available, if not, 24/7 90 day memory.
