Where Options for additional beachfill are awarded, the additional beachfill material shall be placed immediately after the initial Base Bid quantity has been placed in the area(s) to be covered by the awarded Option. The intent is to complete the beachfill template in a given Base-plus-Option area, before proceeding with work further along the construction baseline.

e. The borrow area that will be available for the beachfill material is located northeast of the project location, adjacent to the northern tip of Brigantine Island in the Brigantine Inlet. See the Contract drawings for the exact location. All material for beachfill work performed under this contract shall be obtained from this borrow area. Beachfill material from any other source, including trucking from upland sources, will not be considered under this contract.

1.3 CONTRACTOR ACCESS
