About this file

This document outlines a federal solicitation for dredging and rock removal services on the Delaware River. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Philadelphia District is seeking a firm fixed price contract to perform maintenance dredging of the Delaware channel between Philadelphia and the sea in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. The rock removal work must be completed in accordance with the requirements specified by December 31, 2022. Proposals will be evaluated using best value tradeoff procedures. There will be no federal disposal areas available, and the designated placement sites for rock material are the Delaware River artificial reef sites. Liquidated damages will be assessed for any project delays. The Corps will conduct acceptance surveys within three to five days of the contractor's requests to review survey results. The estimated value of the contract is between $5 million and $10 million.
