Q: What is the total number of bathrooms in each room or building?

A: Bldg 305 – 1 bathroom, Bldg 306 – 2 bathrooms. Refer to Section 1.4.1 in the Performance Work Statement of the amended solicitation.

Q: How many floors does each building have, and how many of these floors have carpeting?

A: Cleaning area – 1 floor each bldg., all carpeted except bathrooms and kitchenette in Bldg 305. Refer to Section 1.4.1 in the Performance Work Statement of the amended solicitation.

Q: Approximately how much carpet area does each building have in total?

A: Bldg 305 - ~1000 sf, Bldg 306 - ~2000 sf. Refer to Section 1.4.1 in the Performance Work Statement of the amended solicitation.

Q: What is the approximate size of the carpeted areas on each floor that require cleaning?

A: Bldg 305 - ~1000 sf, Bldg 306 - ~2000 sf. Refer to Section 1.4.1 in the Performance Work Statement of the amended solicitation.

Q: Is there any specific type of carpet or flooring material that requires a particular cleaning method?

A: See Section 5.0 of Performance Work Statement of the amended solicitation.

Q: How many common or reception areas are there in each building that require regular cleaning?

A: There is 1 kitchenette in each building. Refer to Section 1.4.1 in the Performance Work Statement of the amended solicitation.

Q: Are there any outdoor areas such as entrances, patios, or hallways that also need to be included in the cleaning service?

A: The entire 1st floor interiors of each building require cleanings stipulated in Section 5.0 of the Performance Work Statement of the amended solicitation.

Q: Are there any specialized equipment or hard-to-reach areas that require special attention during cleaning?

A: In Section 5.2.2.E(1) in the Performance Work Statement of the amended solicitation, some of the windows are elevated that may require ladders or long reach equipment to clean the windows exterior. This is a contractor’s means and methods.

Q: Are there any additional requirements for cleaning during certain seasons or weather conditions (e.g., snow or ice removal in winter)?

A: The only exterior cleaning is the window washing twice per year. See section 5.2.2.E of the Performance Work Statement in the amended solicitation.

Q: Are there any access restrictions or safety regulations that we should consider when performing the cleaning service?

A: Personnel will have to be vetted by the 90 Security Forces Squadron to get base access by submitting a DBIDS ID request through the Contracting Officer’s Representative.

Q: What are the key performance indicators (KPIs) or specific standards that will be used to evaluate the success of the janitorial services?

A: Refer to section 1.6 Quality Assurance of the amended solicitation, 5.2 for requirements, and the Quality Assurance Surveillance section of the original solicitation for evaluation metrics.

Q: Are there any challenges or unique considerations at the F.E. Warren Resident Office that we should be aware of when preparing our proposal?

A: The proposal evaluation factors for this contract are past performance, quality control, and price, as implemented by FAR clause 52.212-2, located within the amended solicitation.
