About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding a federal contract opportunity for seeding issued by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha. The solicitation does not require any bonds as this is a service contract. While erosion control blanket was discussed at a walkthrough meeting, the bid documents state it is not needed for the contract; however, the contractor may receive approval from the contracting officer's representative to use erosion control blanket if deemed necessary. The bid price must include removal of excess vegetation in areas where vegetation is too heavy after mowing for seed to germinate properly.
