About this file

This document summarizes an amendment to a solicitation and the related federal contract opportunity. The amendment modifies the specifications for a construction contract to build a stepped roller compacted concrete spillway chute structure, approach walls, and stilling basin for Pipestem Dam in North Dakota. Only galvanized steel sheets will be allowed for contraction joints between concrete sections. Electronic bids are due by 2:00pm on June 13th for the two-step sealed bid procurement, with an estimated construction value between $100 million and $250 million. Under the two-step process, offerors must first submit technical proposals for evaluation, with only acceptable proposals advancing to the second step of priced bid submission. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers district office in Omaha, Nebraska issued this amendment and opportunity for dam spillway modification work.
