About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding a federal solicitation for fuel removal and aboveground storage tank inspection services at the Military Ocean Terminal Sunny Point in North Carolina. The solicitation seeks a contractor to remove any remaining diesel fuel from external tanks, replace wiper seals, provide tank strapping charts, clean the tanks, and perform an in-service or out-of-service AST or STI inspection on the tank(s) as specified in the attachment. Photographs of the tanks are not available, but a previous question included a diagram from the tank company depicting the tanks, which are used for storage and not to supply an emergency generator. The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Army Corps of Engineers Engineering District Omaha.
