1. Information on governor: manufacturer, model number 2. Information on DCS: manufacturer, model number 3. Will USACE provide a schedule as to the timing of site execution for the units? This needs to be broken down prior to the bid submittal so that we understand the mobilization schedule and therefore costs.

Governor Data:

Beaver Units 1-2 - Woodward Mechanical Governor - Manufactured in 1964

2. Will the 8 core bids be sequential or separate/individual trips?

There will be a 13 week period from March 15th through June 15th that the work can be completed sequentially. There will also be a 12 week period from September 15th through December 15th that the work can be completed sequentially. Depending on the length of time for each plants testing will determine if they can all be done sequentially.

3. Does USACE want the options quotes to include a separate mobilization for each unit? Example, Unit 2 of site is its own unique quote, including mob/demob, unit 3 will have its own quote including mob/demob, etc.

If options are awarded, then assume the optional units will be done during the same trip to the particular plant that is being model tested. See answer to question 4 regarding other restrictions if time to test at a plant extends beyond the stated outage period for a unit.

4. Do they want the options quote to quote one mobilization for the site visit, as in, if units 2, 3, and 4 at site to be tested, should there be just one mobilization? Or can we assume there that we can move from unit to unit sequentially while on site.

One mob/demob per plant is the most desired option. Depending on the time for testing, and restrictions in answer 4 will determine how many mob/demobs are required.

5. We need a list of the each of the units and their governor/excitation systems and ratings output. This would be helpful to understand so that we don't actually test more units than is required. If there are identically rated units can the Sister unit clause be placed into effect. The sister unit clause stated that if there are identically rated units the data from the first unit tested can be used for the subsequent sisters.

Ratings for Excitation systems are shown in the original scope of work, paragraph 5.4. Governor manufacturer data is included in response number 1 above.
