About this file
This document contains a detailed technical Q&A describing the installation procedure for mounting a static camera underneath a projector in an auditorium. The guidance provides specific instructions for securely attaching a camera to a projector mount using a universal mounting bracket, emphasizing careful placement that does not interfere with projector functionality. Key technical details include using a universal camera mounting bracket with an adjustable arm, securing the bracket to the projector ceiling mount assembly using existing threaded holes or clamp-style hardware, and ensuring proper cable routing with cable ties or clips. Q. Please provide more details about the “under projector” mount
A. Install a static camera directly underneath the projector in the auditorium by first identifying the mounting points on the projector housing or the projector ceiling mount assembly. Use a universal camera mounting bracket with an adjustable arm or L-shape configuration that can support the weight and dimensions of the specific camera model.
Secure the bracket to the underside of the projector mount (not the projector body itself unless manufacturer-approved) using existing threaded holes or clamp-style hardware, ensuring that the bracket does not interfere with projector ventilation, access panels, or projection path. Attach the camera firmly to the bracket using the provided 1/4"-20 mounting screw, orienting the lens to capture the desired field of view. Route any cabling (power, HDMI, SDI, or network) along the projector mount structure using cable ties or clips to keep it tidy and to avoid strain on the connectors. Ensure the final installation is stable, does not shift with vibration, and allows for easy access to both the projector and the camera for maintenance.
