About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document providing additional clarifications for federal contract opportunity W9127P26QA023 regarding hazardous waste disposal services.
The document clarifies the relationship between two inventory attachments and provides specifications for hazardous materials requiring disposal. Attachment 0005 contains additional inventory quantities that offerors should price in addition to the historical/annual pricing basis specified in Attachment 0003, with no overlap intended. Notably, the Attachment 0005 inventory, except for batteries, is currently located on the government compound and requires immediate disposal. Backup unit batteries listed in the solicitation are excluded from the current disposal inventory as they represent possible future disposal items only. The 400 ballasts identified for disposal are non-PCB units. For the 1,000-unit fluorescent tube inventory, approximately 200 tubes are 2-foot length with the remaining approximately 800 tubes being 4-foot length. These specifications provide offerors with essential technical details for accurate pricing of hazardous waste disposal services under this solicitation.

Additional Clarifications for W9127P26QA023 – Hazardous Waste Disposal
Q. Could the Government please confirm whether the quantities in Attachment 0005 are current additional inventory that offerors should price in addition to the Attachment 0003 historical/annual pricing basis, or whether Attachment 0005 is intended to replace or overlap any Attachment 0003 quantities?
A. The inventory in Attachment 0005 are additional to Attachment 0003. It should be noted that the inventory in Attachment 0005, with the exception of batteries, is currently on the compound in need of disposal.
Q. Also, if available, could the Government identify the quantity/type of the listed Back Up Unit Batteries and whether the 400 ballasts are known to be PCB or non-PCB? If the fluorescent tube lengths in the 1,000-tube inventory are known, that information would also help with disposal pricing.
A. Disregard the batteries – those are listed as a possible item for future disposal and are not currently in the disposal inventory. Ballasts are non-PCB. For the fluorescent bulb sizes are as follows: roughly 200 are 2ft and the remaining are 4ft.
