SEED PROJECT STATEMENT OF WORK

3 Project Scope of Work

The objective of this project is for the Contractor to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install three (3) sliding roller electric gates at three locations at the Jim Woodruff/Lake Seminole Project in accordance with this Scope of Work.

a) Within fifteen (15) calendar days of contract award, the Contractor shall have a pre-construction meeting to bring all affected parties together to get a clear understanding of the work to be performed. The pre-construction meeting shall be held at the project site. The Contractor shall field-verify all dimensions during the pre-construction meeting. Geotechnical Investigations do not apply to this task order.

b) The Contractor shall submit installation drawings for approval. The installation drawings need not be certified/signed and shall clearly indicate gate & fence locations; typical details at intersections, corners, ends, and posts; gate assembly, gate hardware, catalog data, and accessories.

c) Contractor shall submit electrical drawings for approval. Electrical design drawings shall be in accordance with NNFPA 70. All electrical drawings shall be certified/stamped by a Licensed Engineer.

d) The Contractor shall deliver materials to site in undamaged condition and store materials off the ground to provide protection against oxidation caused by ground contact.

All items are required to match the material characteristics of the gate, existing fence system, and/or new fence being installed. The Contractor shall not install dissimilar metals.

Requests or desires of the users or using agency made directly to the Contractor will be immediately brought to the attention of the PM or TM, and KO. Any changes to the project scope or other provisions of the Scope of Work must be authorized in writing by the KO.
