About this file
This document is an Addendum to the Performance Work Statement (PWS) for a Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) childcare services contract for the Nevada National Guard. The addendum details comprehensive requirements for childcare services during a two-day event on September 13-14, 2025, in Reno, NV, covering children ages 0-12. Key requirements include providing trained childcare providers with specific qualifications (minimum 18 years old, 6 months experience, background checks, first aid/CPR certification), maintaining a safe child-to-caregiver ratio, ensuring child safety protocols, and managing registration, health, and room preparation.
Specific contractor responsibilities include providing one large room with age-appropriate separation, child-safe toys, universal health precautions, comprehensive registration procedures, and strict safety standards such as meeting fire codes, ADA requirements, and maintaining a hazard-free environment. The contractor cannot administer medications, must keep children constantly supervised, and will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the childcare space. The current estimated number of children is four, and the contract uses NAICS code 561920. An on-site representative from either the prime or subcontractor is required during the event.
