1)Q-(1) building that is three sections and (3) buildings that are four sections is that correct?
A-Yes

2) Q- What is the exterior siding & skirting material on the buildings?

A-Metal, I believe it's steel

3) Q- skirting material cannot be reused, is there a dumpster on site or are we to make provisions

A-I was under the impression it could be reused. Other companies have. Please contact Mr. Albert Ruiz at Fort Bliss for further inquiries.
Albert Ruiz
Space Management, Master Planning Division, Directorate of Public Works
777 Pleasonton Road, Fort Bliss, TX 79916, (915)-569-5507

4) Q- We need to know the size of the axles, and how many tires per section so we can make arrangements for tires & axles A-I do not know again I would refer you to Mr Ruiz at Fort Bliss.

5) Q- If you have any site pictures this is beneficial so we can see site egress & how to get to the buildings.

A-Attached is the building layout at fort bliss.

6) Q- Are the ramps relocating or will they be expecting new ramps in Huachuca. Most often it is MORE expensive to relocate a ramps & try to meet the existing floor threshold (due to site conditions) will need pictures of ramps & stairs/material type/ install methods etc A-ramps and or stairs will be relocated believe they are steel/ aluminum

7) Q-Does the unit have any intermediary posting in the floor plan that requires additional shipping walls and support A-Sorry I don't know what intermediary means. Attached are the engineering reports from the fort Huachuca master planner after site visit at Fort Bliss.

8) Q- Can you define the sizes of the sections (ie 38’ is two 12’ and one 14’ wide) A-I believe the three section unit is 68' long, two 12’ and one 14’ wide sections and the 4 section unit is 48' long, two 12’ and two 14’ wide sections

9) Q- Does the unit have steel roof beams for lags or is it made from wood (glu lam or laminated ridge beam) A-Sorry I do not know

10) Q- Block & level unit to specs means what? Who’s specs, and is there more detail we need to see A-Buildings must be anchored and leveled. Units must be reinstalled to original specs prior to disassembly. Specs to industry standard IAW Fort Huachuca DPW Mr. Tim Merryman, (520) 533-5125 POC

11) Q- what type of flooring does it have (are we to replace it all or just the marriage lines) a 4” bar is used not very attractive A-Tile flooring

12) Q- is the wall covering inside gypsum or vinyl covered gypsum, new close up trims will be required A-Looks to be vinyl covered gypsum

13) Q?-Utility disconnections need to be by others – unless you can tell us where they go to & what they are tied into

14) Q- Utility connections by others – or need more information A-All water and sewage line appear to be contained to a single section, power and data in all sections. DPW at Fort bliss will coordinate utility disconnect at site.

15) Q?- Special bracing will be required for accordion wall header so it stays in place during transport

16) Q- Assuming the ceiling tiles are 2 x 4 lay in , need pictures of type for replacement at marriage line A-Pic enclosed

17) Q-are there any fire sprinklers?

A-Yes there is also the notification network alarm system in these units.

18) Q-you will need to know if they were ever assessed to move into AZ. Transport permits here require 504 clearance on used buildings A-Don't know these buildings were engineered for a desert environment

19) Q- Is there a plumbing tree under the buildings – is it still connected if so disconnect BY OTHERS A-All water and sewage line appear to be contained to a single section, power and data in all sections. DPW at Fort bliss will coordinate utility disconnect at site

20) Q- fire alarm disconnect by others

A-DPW at Fort bliss will coordinate utility disconnect at site
21)Q- I just wanted to confirm because sometimes people say buildings and mean sections.
(1) three section building and (3) four section buildings. Is this correct? Total sections (15)
A-I believe the three section unit is 68' long, two 12’ and one 14’ wide sections and the 4 section unit is 48' long, two 12’ and two 14’ wide sections total 15 sections
22)Q-What type of foundation is under there now – removable inexpensive wood pads & steel piers or concrete foundation. If you can't let me know I will clarify the temporary wood pad & steel pier in our proposal
A-Inspection report states "Concrete and masonry on compacted earth"
