About this file

This document is an Industry Questions and Answers document for the W9124D25QA068 High-Speed Internet Service solicitation. The Q&A provides critical details about a high-speed internet service contract for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command at Fort Knox, KY. Key details include: the incumbent contractor is Charter Communications Operating, LLC (previous contract W9124D-22-P-0184), the facility averages approximately 260 devices daily, and the current network platform is Meraki. Technical specifications reveal the building is nearly 100 years old, constructed with concrete, brick, and drywall, and containing metal studs. The contract requires approximately 111 feet of conduit installation, cabling, and has drop ceilings in most areas except hallways. No specific requirements were noted for TAA/NDAA compliance, Uninterruptible Power Supply, or bandwidth limiting.

The attached images are floor plan layouts of the facility, showing multiple levels (basement, first, second, third) with color-coded sticky notes indicating various room designations and potential network infrastructure locations. These floor plans appear to be part of the site survey documentation to assist potential bidders in understanding the physical infrastructure and network deployment requirements for the high-speed internet service contract.
