CCTV System Replacement.
All proposed CCTV equipment is manufactured by Pelco. All of the network switches and fiber are manufactured by Comnet.
All indoor cameras in non critical light conditions are replaced by IMP219-1S Pelco Domes. The cameras is 2MP 1080 resolution.
All indoor cameras with back light conditions or looking into glass or sunlight areas are IME219-1S with 2MP 1080P resolution. The IME series has Pelco’s sure vision technology to provide accurate video and difficult lighting conditions such as back lighting.
All outdoor cameras are replaced the IMP219-1ERP 2MP 1080P Dome Camera. This camera is in an environmental housing and is a pendant style mount. The camera mounts to the building structure with a WMVE-SR Wall Mount.
All outdoor PTZ dome cameras are replaced with S6220-EG1 HD PTZ Dome Cameras. The camera is 2 MP 1080P. The cameras on the corners include a parapet mount to mount the camera on the parapet wall. This allows servicing the camera from the roof without a lift.
All outdoor fixed and PTZ cameras include additional surge protection at the camera.
The Network consist of one primary 24 port switch with up to 24 SFP ports. The primary switch is Comnet model CWGE24S. The primary switch will have SFP GBIC fiber modules that will provide connection for the secondary switches the cameras connect to.
The secondary switch is Comnet model CWGE26FX2TX24MSPOE. This switch supports up to 26 gigbit ports. 22 of them are copper PoE, 2 are combo ports, 2 are dedicated SFP.
All switches are managed layer 2. All switches use fiber SFP modules SFP-6 (Single Mode) or SFP-46 (Multi-Mode) fiber optic transceivers to connect to the primary switch.
All existing CAT-5/6 cable and terminations will be reused to the extent possible for the camera locations. New CAT-6 wiring will be ran from the Security Manager’s Office to the IT Room near his office.
The existing monitors and HDMI cables in the main security room to be re used. A work station computer will need to be provided to meet the Control Point Software Specifications.
Access Control System Replacement.
All proposed Access Control equipment is manufactured by DSX.
All door locations will have a DSX-1042PKG panel with additional DX-1042 cards where there are more than two doors at a location. The DSX-1042PKG can be configured up to 8 doors by adding additional DSX-1042 Door Controller Cards and further expanded by adding additional panels.
The DSX-1042PKG Panel with connect to network switches using a DSX-LAN interface.
All door locations include battery back-up main panel and readers. The power for the door hardware is provided and battery backed up by the DSX-1042 panel’s internal power supplies except for the VonDuprin Crash Bars which have an independent power supply.
The system is configured to read standard prox cards. The system includes 400 printable prox cards and an encoder to quickly enroll the cards. The readers will all be changed out on the existing doors to multi class readers. The readers and all of the DSX hardware will read standard prox cards and CAC cards. The DSX WinStart Software included with the system is for Prox Cards. The software would need to be upgraded to the SQL version if you need to read CAC Cards.
The proposal is based on using the Von Duprin Door Hardware at all the doors with exiting magnetic locks. Electric strikes are provided to match the door requirements at all other doors.
In areas with concrete walls and areas where the wiring is exposed conduit is included. All wiring in concealed areas such as drop ceilings and walls will not be in conduit. Wiring at existing access control door locations will be reused to the extent possible. All new door locations include wiring and installation to nearest network switch.
All material and installation is included to make a complete functional access control system with the exception of a Windows 7 Pro PC to run the software.
Update:
Request all equipment used will be made in the U.S.A due to availability of replacement parts.
Request phased maintenance of equipment in order to not disrupt daily operations.
Expandability of equipment must be allowed for future locations of cameras and access control points.
