Questions:

1. Q&A Part 1, Question 1 indicates a total of 16 doors for access control, which coincides with Q&A Part 2, Question 8 which also indicates a total of 16 doors, “all exterior and sensitive areas”.

0. Does this mean that ALL access controlled doors are exterior? Or are some exterior, and others are interior/sensitive? All access control doors will be exterior only

0. Please provide quantity of each type and, if possible, indicate locations on the provided drawings. Exterior - 35, Interior - 0

1. The SOW indicates “The proposal is based on using the Von Duprin Door Hardware at all the doors with exiting magnetic locks. Electric strikes are provided to match the door requirements at all other doors.”

1. For the doors requiring the Von Duprin Door Hardware with Magnetic Locks, please indicate the quantity, location, orientation (left or right-handed opening), desired color/finish and construction/type of door and door frame. No doors with magnetic locks

1. For the doors requiring electric strikes, please indicate the quantity, location, orientation and construction/type of door and door frame. Von Duprin Doors with electric strikes at all 35 exterior locations identified on the sketches.

1. Do all 16 access-controlled doors require PROX card entry from outside, or are any “exit only”?

All 35 doors will require proxy card entry. The proxy cards must have the ability to have pictures and information printed on the card stock.

1. Do any of the 16 access-controlled doors require an alarm and/or an exit delay?

Yes. A time delay will be required.

1. Based on the drawings provided, it appears there is a main building with multiple secondary buildings, including two marked off-site (84551 & 51101).

4. How are these buildings (and floors within buildings) connected as far as network infrastructure for the CCTV and Access Control systems?

Both building 84551 and 51101 are single floor buildings. Each building has CAT6 copper connecting to PoE switches for connectivity for the CCTV and access control system. The individual buildings have single mode fiber with multiple cross connect points back to building 45001. The cross-connect points between both Bldg. 51101 and Bldg. 84551 back to the main hospital, Bldg. 45001 are managed by the Network Enterprise Center (NEC). The site can coordinate with the NEC to make the necessary cross-connects so a path is available upon installation.

4. If existing fiber is present, where does that fiber terminate in each building and what connectors are used (ST/SC/LC, etc)?

There is existing SMF in each building that connects it back to the main hospital, Bldg. 45001. At the patch panel the terminating connection at 84551, 51101, and 45001 is SC. The cross-connect points between both Bldg. 51101 and Bldg. 84551 back to the main hospital, Bldg. 45001 are managed by the Network Enterprise Center (NEC). The site can coordinate with the NEC to make the necessary cross-connects so a path is available upon installation.

1. Q&A Part 1, Question 1 indicates a total of 54 cameras. Q&A Part 2, Questions 1-4 identify 35 interior, non-critical light cameras (IMP219-1S), 43 interior back-lit cameras (IME219-1S), 5 fixed exterior cameras (IMP219-1ERP) and 5 exterior PTZ cameras (S6220-EG1), for a total of 88 cameras. Q&A Part 5, the total quantity of cameras is 54 (5 exterior, 5 exterior PTZ and 44 indoor). The provided drawings indicate desired camera locations, with a total of 42 cameras.

5. Please clarify to indicate the exact number of each camera type/model desired.

Existing cameras will NOT be reused. Requesting 54 HD resolution cameras at the specified location outlined in the sketches.

1. Q&A Part 6 indicates that these systems (assuming CCTV and Access Control) need to report or be monitored from a remote location.

6. Is that location the on-site security office, or is there a location external to the facility (off-site) that will need to be able to access these systems? The two locations that’ll require access are the Security Manager’s office and AOD office.

6. If off-site access is required, are those locations already set-up for remote access to the internal network? No off-site access is required.

6. How many remote locations will require access to these systems? 0

1. Q&A Part 6 indicates that a total of 72 hours (3 days) of video storage is required.

7. What recording method do you require? For example, 24/7 recording, scheduled recording, motion-based recording, etc. 24/7 recording with 90 day storage capability.

1. The SOW indicates “All outdoor fixed and PTZ cameras include additional surge protection at the camera”. These cameras do not come with additional surge protection. Is this statement meant to indicate that the ‘additional surge protection’ will be provided or is already in place, or are we to propose and include additional surge protectors in our proposal? Unaware of additional surge protection, but would accept recommendations if needed.

1. SOW indicates “The existing monitors and HDMI cables in the main security room to be re used”. However, Q&A Part 2, Question 11 indicates that, while 2 Pioneer Plasma TVs are in the main security room, “this should be NA since the request is to replace the entire outdated system”.

9. Please clarify if we are to propose new monitors and, if so, quantity and size requested. Yes. Main security room will require two new 50-inch, plasma TVs that are capable of supporting 1920 x 1080 resolution. These two new TVs will also require new HDMI cables.

9. Please indicate whether new monitors (if desired) will be mounted to a wall (if so, please indicate the construction of the wall), or if they will be table-top units.

1. Q&A Part 2, Question 6 indicates that a new, single-mode fiber will need to be installed to replace the existing multimode fiber in the IMD Classroom. Where does this fiber terminate and what is the distance between the IMD Classroom and that termination location?

The distance from the IMD Classroom to its termination location, E-1 is approx. 390 feet. The multi-mode fiber will remain in place along with the new single mode fiber.

1. Please identify the locations of the comm rooms where the secondary switches are to be installed on the drawings.

11. Do these comm rooms have existing Uninterruptible Power Supplies (“UPS” battery backup power for switches & cameras), or are we to provide those UPS units?

Each communications room has its own dedicated UPS that can be used for the switches and cameras.

1. Is the usage of DSX Access Control and Von Duprin hardware a hard requirement, or would the government be agreeable to a proposal with Access Control and/or Door Hardware with similar or better specifications? The government is willing to agree to similar hardware if the specifications match or are enhanced.

1. The SOW indicates that “All material and installation is included to make a complete functional access control system with the exception of a Windows 7 Pro PC to run the software”.

13. Please clarify this statement, as it is unclear if the contractor is to provide the Windows 7 PC, or if it is furnished by the government. The contractor must furnish Windows 10 PC

13. Is this Windows 7 Pro PC to run the Access Control software or the CCTV remote viewing software? Both Locations

13. If the contractor is to provide the PC(s), please indicate the quantity of PC’s (and monitors, if necessary) required. Two (2) PCs and four (4) monitors

1. Is there a map showing the proximity of the buildings? Yes. Please reference a basic Fort Huachuca map.

1. Is there a specific list of what devices are to be re-used? No devices will be reused.
