About this file
This document appears to be an example boiler inspection form that details the annual calibration service and scheduled preventive maintenance inspections required for boilers. The key elements include securing and draining the boiler, opening it for cleaning and inspection, checking for corrosion or damage, disassembling and cleaning the low water cutoff controls, performing a hydrostatic test, testing the safety/relief valve, cleaning fuel components, checking ignition and burner operation, and lubricating motor and shaft bearings. The scheduled preventive maintenance inspections focus on reviewing the operating log, testing the low water cutoff and pressure relief valve, checking for leaks, testing the flame safeguard control, and performing other operational checks. This form appears to be an attachment to the related federal contract opportunity for Boiler Inspection and Labeling Service at Fort Campbell, KY/TN, which is a non-personal services contract solicitation issued by the Department of the Army Materiel Command Mission and Installation Contracting Command.
