W9124819Q0005 Questions and Answers

1. What is the current annual contract value for the current contract that this solicitation will replace?

The Government’s position is that this is protected information.

2. Must the portable latrines be no more than three years old throughout the entire life of the contract?

Refer to Amendment W9124819Q0005U0003 Section C, PWS subparagraph 5.0.2.5

3. What is the frequency of resupply required for toilet tissue in the pit latrines?

Refer to Amendment W9124819Q0005U0003 Section C, PWS subparagraph 5.1.4

4. What is the workload history for temporary portable latrines?

Between 01 July 2018 and 30 June 2019, there were 3066 temporary latrines emplaced on Ft. Campbell.

5. You mentioned that you would only use the First Task Order to review the bid numbers. What concerns me with that approach is someone could low ball the prices on the First Task Order and then jack up the prices on temporary latrines on the pricing pages to make up difference plus some. If you don't consider the pricing on temporary latrines, it seems to open up the possibility for some impropriety in the bid process. Should the temporary units be added to the First Task order?

See section M, “Volume II – Price”, Paragraph number 5. Please continue to submit quotes in accordance with the solicitation.
