About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation W91247-26-Q-A029 regarding DPW Closed Loop Water Testing and Maintenance services. The document addresses five key inquiries from potential contractors regarding contract scope, site visit availability, system specifications, materials requirements, and equipment ownership.

The government clarified that no site visit will be conducted, despite contractor requests due to the complexity of the requirement. Regarding closed loop systems containing glycol, the government identified that chillers listed in Technical Exhibits 4 and 6 contain glycol, but declined to provide estimated volumes or current glycol percentages for bidding purposes. The contractor is required to provide initial charges of propylene glycol for all systems at contract commencement. On equipment ownership, the government confirmed it is not currently considering purchasing and owning contractor-furnished equipment to avoid replacement and phasing-in delays. For historical pricing context, the government directed bidders to the previous contract W91247-19-C-0125 listed on SAMs.Gov, while declining to provide the current requirement's cost estimate. The document does not contain response dates, award dates, or specific pricing terms.
