All vessel openings, including manways and nozzles, shall be securely covered in the factory prior to shipment to prevent the entrance of debris and animals.

INSPECTION

The Owner may retain the services of an independent, third-party testing entity to inspect the linings and coatings of the vessels once they arrive on-site. The supplier shall provide all materials, labor and equipment necessary and bear all costs associated with repair of the linings and coatings if holidays or other defects are identified during the inspection.

INSTALLATION (Services provided by the Contractor and supervised by the Supplier) Assembly of the treatment system, installation of the resins and related appurtenances shall be performed by the Contractor under the supervision of the manufactures representative and will be in accordance with the Supplier’s drawings, instructions, and recommendations. The Contractor shall employ the Supplier for these services. The Contractor will be required to coordinate the locations of the ductile iron pipe for the influent, effluent and drainpipes from the well house and chlorine room with the Supplier.

The Supplier will deliver the IX System to the site in several preassemble pieces. The equipment provided by AqueoUS Vets is delivered in 7 pieces. The Contractor will be required off load the system components. The vessels are the heaviest component. The layout and weights of typical treatment equipment is presented in Appendix G. Pre-assembled units shall not be stored on the ground but on wood dunnage to avoid damage to the equipment or their coatings. We anticipate assembly of the equipment and loading of the vessels with media will take a minimum of 5-days.
