We are asking contracting officers for consideration to include FAR Clause 52.208-9, Contractor Use of Mandatory Sources of Supply or Services for construction projects, for door hardware in your current and future acquisition purchases, to follow this Federal Mandated Program.

As you know, the AbilityOne Network Program employs more than 45,000 individuals, including 3,000 of who are military veterans, wounded warriors and others that are blind or have disabilities. This Independent Federal Agency Program leverages a national network of more than 550 community-based nonprofit agencies to provide meaningful employment.

The Javits-Wagner-O'Day (JWOD) Act, 41 U.S.C. 46-48c, established a procurement program, (PL), to increase employment opportunities for these individuals.

This Act makes it mandatory for all federal agencies to purchase certain supplies and services from designated nonprofit agencies.

On 5 February 2016; VisionCorps, a nonprofit agency and PDQ, Manufacturer of Door hardware, both based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, jointly announced the formation of the co-brand SKILCRAFT/PDQ, an AbilityOne Distributor for SKILCRAFT/PDQ Door Hardware Products.

Additional items may be available from the mandatory source. AbilityOne's procurement products list (PL), can be searched at: www.abilityone.com, or Contact:

SKILCRAFT.ASP@VisionCorps.net.

We thank you for your time and considerations with this request!
