Specification 03 30 00,2.1.7 requires a maximum water-cement ratio of 0.45.

The local suppliers indicate that due to aggregate quality in the area most mixes average 5,000 psi with a higher water-cement ratio than that specified. Please clarify the maximum concrete strength requirement considering a maximum water cement ratio is also specified, meeting the maximum strength requirement may not be possible with the local materials. 1-0 Evaluation Concurred. Maybe clarifying with the below text will clear up the confusion. The requested price breakdown structure is as follows: within the first five (qty 5) 5,000gal Frac Tanks (0-5 Frac Tanks), what is the "unit price" for one 5,000 Frac Tank (qty 1) and what is the "extended price" for five (qty 5) total 5,000gal Frac Tanks. Then, for more than five Frac Tanks, what is the "unit price" for one 5,000 Frac Tank (qty 1) and what is the "extended price" for ten (qty 10) total 5,000 Frac Tanks (6-10 Frac Tanks). Finally, what is the "total" price for fifteen (qty 15) 5,000gal Frac Tanks. By: Matthew Olijnek; Special Projects
