About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation W911SG-25-Q-A007 regarding satellite television services at Fort Bliss for Japanese Forces. The document clarifies that DirectTV service is required for 140 locations across two buildings (Hawk Building 1008 and Patriot Building 1009), which serve as barracks quarters for Japanese personnel.
The service requirements include installation of receivers, cabling, and wall plates with HDMI connections to Sharp LC-32LB370U televisions. The programming must include NHK Japan Tokyo (featuring dramas, sports, news, and variety shows) plus a 120-channel network package, with optional pricing requested for NIPPON TV as an add-on. The buildings are individually wired, with Building 1009 having drop ceiling access while Building 1008 has designated access points. Commercial WiFi is available for system performance monitoring, and existing cable drops are present in both buildings. The satellite transponders 99CR and 103CR originally listed in the scope were clarified as no longer required.
