6. For Oscar 2 & 3, will we be furnished with civil plans for grading elevations, limits of disturbance, soil erosion and construction details?
Answer: Yes. See attached.
7. For Oscar 6, will we be furnished with topo/grading plans?
Answer: No grading plan will be provided for Oscar 6. Government does not see any grading work that needs to be completed on Oscar 6 for the firing line.
8. Oscar 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12 ‐ Will we be furnished with locations and elevations on firing point and
½ CTA single?
The SOW read as such that there will be 16 pads and 16 CTAs per location. For example (16)
CTAs and Pads at Oscar 2, (16) CTAs and Pads at Oscar 3, (16) CTAs and Pads at Oscar 6, (16)
CTAs and Pads at Oscar 7, (16) CTAs and Pads at Oscar 9, (16) CTAs and Pads at Oscar 11, and
(16) CTAs and Pads at Oscar 12. This would total 112 total ctas and 112 total pads.
Answer: Location for firing position to be same as existing. Elevations for firing positions will need to be adjusted as needed to meet the TC‐25 requirements for being able to see the targets. CTA location and elevation will be determined based on firing positions.
9. Oscar 3, 12 and Simpson ‐ . The SOW states “Contractor must verify and/or determine that the existing power distribution system has sufficient current capacity for the additional loads.
Upgrade the existing power distribution system if needed. Provide and install new panelboard if required by the newly added receptacle loads.” Are we to assume that a modification will be issued IF the existing power distribution system does not have sufficient capacity for the additional loads?
The AMD1 makes reference to SIT, DSITs, emplacements etc. Please verify that the CTAs, concrete pads, electrical and civil SOW is the only requirement for these ranges and that the contractor is not responsible for providing new emplacements, SITs, DSITs, targeting systems etc.
Does civil need to cover erosion control for the electrical SOW.
Answer: Contractor is to assume that a modification will be issued if the existing power distribution system does not have sufficient capacity for the additional loads. Yes the CTAs, concrete pads, electrical and civil SOW is the only requirements for OSUT 3.
10. OSUT 3 Is the existing electrical at the individual firing points going to be removed?
Answer: Cut and cap any wiring present on site. Install all new wiring and 20 amp power services on Oscar 12, 9, 7, and 6 also on Simpson.
