SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION SF 1449 - CONTINUATION SHEET

SOLICITATION/CONTRACT FORM

The required response date/time has changed from 10-Apr-2023 10:00 AM to 11-Apr-2023 10:00 AM.

The following have been modified:

RESPONSE TO VENDOR QUESTIONS

1. Who will be responsible for providing the water-soluble bags the government or the vendor?

Vendor should provide a water-soluble bag which sits inside a basket or container. This will allow the person picking up the bag filled dirty laundered uniforms easy removal access without having to transfer the dirty uniforms to another bag or container.

2. These are all 65/35 blend garments and no FR garments, right?

That is correct. We require Standard Automotive Industry Uniform made from 65% polyester / 35% cotton blend.

3. The office employee shirts: you are requiring 3 buttons, which implies polo shirt. Almost all polos are special breathable 100% polyester, and this is preferred by nearly all our customers. The reason is that this material is more comfortable and stays more professional during the day. The blend will be special order, therefore more expensive.

Yes, 100% Polyester Polo shirt is acceptable. The PWS has been updated to remove the blend % for this item.

4. Who is the current contractor on this project?

Red Orange America

5. Section 5.7 of solicitation states weekly laundry of (1) unit of launder shirt and (1) pair of pants. Shouldn’t this be (5) for each for 11) sets of rented garments?

6. Section 1.14 of solicitation: Confirming that you require all drivers accessing facility to perform background check and not all contractor’s employees.

Correct, drivers who access our Army Reserve facilities must have a background check, plus they will require proper ID to enter military installations.

Correct, anyone who has access to an Army Reserve or military installation must have these trainings completed.
