A8: All drywall being repaired in bathrooms must be green board.
Q9: In regards to the job walk performed on April 18, 2017, we are requesting “As-Build” drawings for the above-mentioned job. We would like them both in PDF as well as CAD.
A9: What we have will be provided with Amendment 1.
Q10: Can we get a quantity of windows on each building that will require being Re Glazed? At site visit, we did not get a chance to walk around buildings to get an accurate count.
A10: See 4.2.7
Q11: 33/ Site work. The asphalt around Bldg 321 is in a very poor state, especially the area identified on DWGS SITE PLAN as the MEP area, and needs to be replaced. The Type II Roadway Slurry Seal and sealing of the cracks per the RFP will cover the cracks for a short while but a guarantee cannot be provided, positive drainage cannot be provided. Cracks will reappear in a very short period of time. Please confirm that the repairs of the asphalt are limited to sealing of cracks and the Type II roadway slurry seal and that a guarantee will not be required.
A11: Work shall be done per SOW.
Q12: 35/ SOW 4.1.6.2 asks the contractor to remove all tile. Please confirm that this includes the floor tile.

A15: No discrepancy colors showed where door locations are. There might be multiple devices on those doors. Per 1.4 states the contractor shall verify the site condition.
Q16: The DWGS 4.6 Bldg 335 shows doors from small offices with new panic hardware. Some of these doors probably do not require panic hardware as the max occupancy of those rooms will be below the threshold requiring panics. Also, on the first floor the drawing shows panic hardware on one door into an anteroom and not the second door into this anteroom (room number is illegible). Please confirm the scope and quantity of panic hardware required.

This approach in asking a contractor to submit a bid for an undefined scope of work to repair the damaged asphalt is very subjective and may lead to issues during execution of this scope of work. The Governments interpretation of damaged asphalt may be very different to each and every contractor that submits a bid for this scope of work.
In order to be fair and make the scope of work definable such that a fair and equal bid can be prepared by each contractor, please provide a square foot of asphalt that is to be replaced for the basis of the bid.
A25: Please see 1.4. Information should have been captured during site visit.
