About this file

This is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document that is part of Solicitation Amendment W911S7-26-Q-A006.

The document addresses contractor inquiries regarding the removal and replacement of existing signage at two Fort Leonard Wood locations: Nutter Field House (Building 1067) and Army Community Service (Building 486). Two images of existing signs are provided for reference—one showing a rectangular sign mounted on a brick building and another showing a dark-colored sign mounted between brick pillars. Regarding electrical infrastructure, both signage locations have existing 120VAC power available. Power to the Nutter Field House signage originates from Electrical Panel L5, Circuit 19 (20-amp single pole breaker), while power to the Army Community Service signage originates from Electrical Panel D, Circuit 28 (20-amp single pole breaker). The Department of Public Works (DPW) Operations will provide power from the building electrical panels to the closest junction box at each signage location. The contractor is responsible for making the connection from the junction box to the new signage and must provide DPW OPS with electrical specifications for the new signage prior to installation. No trenching is required, as DPW OPS will handle power provision to the new signage. Contractors are not required to bring electricity to the signs themselves.
