2. A change in service dates due to customer budget expected availability. The base period will still begin on 1/1/2021 and will now end on 3/31/2021. The first option year will begin on 4/1/2021 and end on 3/31/2022. The follow on option years will follow the same pattern.
3. QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
The following questions were asked during the site visit or were provided via email on 11/04/2020.
Vendor: Who is responsible for replacing the batteries?
Gov Response: The Government will purchase and provide to the contractor to test and install.
Vendor: Are the generator serial numbers available for each unit in order to determine correct filters and oil capacity?
Gov Response: Yes-I believe Serial numbers are available.
Vendor: Is a valve adjustment on each unit required annually regardless of hours of use?
Gov Response: In regards to valve lash, I will check the manual and identify the interval for valve lash adjustment.
Vendor: Is a breakdown of the current hours of each unit available?
Gov Response: Yes-I believe our log book shows weekly inspections and hours at time of inspection, I don’t believe we have performed any maintenance above the weekly/monthly inspection level as that was previously covered by maintenance contracts if memory serves. If we have it would be things like battery's, chargers, adding fluids, etc.
