About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document clarifying requirements for a monument sign refacing and refurbishment contract. The requirement involves refacing and refurbishing five stone/cement faces across three monument sign locations: Victory (Lee) Boulevard (double-sided), Jefferson Avenue (double-sided), and Jefferson/Madison (single-sided). The scope of work encompasses repairs to these existing monument signs rather than procurement of five separate signs.

The contract is subject to Davis-Bacon wage determination requirements, with the applicable determination included as Attachment #7. Work must be completed before October 1, 2026, with a response date extended to 5 PM EST on August 24, 2026. Power to the canopy electrical panel box is already in place from previous signage, and the contractor is not responsible for providing new circuits. No pre-quote site visit is being offered; however, measurements and specifications are available in attachments #2, #3, #4, and #5 to support pricing. All measurements, specifications, and material requirements will be verified with the Government at the initial site visit after contract award in accordance with PWS paragraph 1.3.3.

The RFI graphic states "Repair 5 stone/cement faces" and identifies three locations: Victory (Lee) Blvd double sided, Je erson Ave double sided, and Je erson/Madison single sided. Two double-sided signs plus one single-sided sign is three signs and five faces. Please confirm whether the requirement is five faces across three monument locations, or five separate monument signs. Please see attachment #4 for additional pictures and attachment #5 for additional information.
