1. Is it okay the trucks are ¾ ton?
Answer: No.
2. Please confirm whether “snow tires” require a specific certification (e.g., Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake), or whether commercially available winter-rated snow tires installed by the rental provider are acceptable.
Answer: Snow tires require the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification on an all-terrain tire. “All-season tires” are unacceptable.
3. Can the Government confirm whether ground clearance is to be verified based on manufacturer-published specifications for the vehicle in factory configuration, or if physical measurement upon delivery is required?
Answer: ground clearance is verified based on manufacturer published specifications. This will not be measured at the time of delivery unless there is an obvious difference in the specified clearance and the delivered vehicle.
4. The solicitation requires replacement of a vehicle within 24 hours in the event of a failure.
Can the Government clarify whether the replacement vehicle must meet all original configuration requirements at the time of replacement, or if an equivalent temporary substitute vehicle meeting core performance requirement (seating capacity, towing capability, ground clearance) is acceptable while full compliance is restored?
Answer: The replacement may have an equivalent temporary substitute vehicle. Temporary is defined as 72-hours.
5. The solicitation requires replacement of a vehicle within 24 hours in the event of a failure.
Answer: Confirm.
6. Could you please confirm whether CMMC Level 2 training or certification is required under this solicitation?
Answer: Confirm.
