MEMORANDUM FOR ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS
FROM: U.S. Army Contracting Command – Aberdeen Proving Ground, Natick Division 1 General Greene Avenue Natick, MA 01760-5011
SUBJECT: Question and Answer - Request for Proposal, W911QY-23-R-1022
The following are questions received from industry and answers provided by the Government related to solicitation W911QY-23-R-1022. This additional information aims to provide interested offerors with the most current information.
Question and Answer #2:
Question 1 - The Pricing instructions in the revised Solicitation (Solicitation, pg 11-12, 3c.) direct offerors to price the SOO Tasks 2.1 and 2.2 against CLINs 1001 & 1002, respectively. However, the Solicitation and the CLIN structure is silent on how to price the administrative tasks in SOO section 2.3. Should offerors embed the costs of the programmatic SOO 2.3 tasks within their pricing for CLINs 1001 and 1002? Or, should offerors solely price SOO tasks 2.1 and 2.2 against CLINs 1001 and 1002?
Answer 1 – Offerors should embed the costs of the SOO 2.3 tasks within their pricing for CLINs 1001 and 1002.
Question 2 - The Pricing instructions in the revised Solicitation direct offerors to price the Sample Task Order (Solicitation, pg 5, 2e. Vol 3, (4)), without specifying a duration of that Sample Task Order. For the purpose of this bid, what is the expected duration of the Sample Task Order?
Answer 2 – The duration of this sample Task Order is 12 months.
Question 3 - The revised pricing template calculates pricing for Years 2 through 5 from the level of effort proposed in the Base Year. Assuming the duration of the Sample Task Order is less than 1 year, is the government’s intent to evaluate price for a similar Task Order issued in each IDIQ year of performance?
Answer 3 - Yes.
