Area of Interest (AoI) – FM200 System Inspection and Repairs
Federal Agency: Army
Office: Army Contracting Command – Anniston Army Depot (ACC-ANAD)
AoI Title: FM200 System Inspection and Repairs
CSO AoI Number: AoI #0007
AoI Release Date: 20 April 2026
Responses: See W911KF-25-S-C002 for procedure details
Questions and Answers:
1. How many of each system is located within the buildings? Please review the attachments QD89-FM200-Bldg List and QD89-FM200-Inspection Schedule for this information.
2. What is the “not-to-exceed” repair budget? Are we supposed to give that number, or is that something the gov’t is providing? It says repairs are based on inspection findings, meaning we won’t know what needs to be repaired until an inspection is completed.
This information will not be given award.
3. What is the “not-to-exceed” emergency budget? Are we supposed to give that number or is that the something the gov’t is providing? This information will not be given until award.
4. Other than the cleaning of the detectors, what other “maintenance and repair” items need to be included? Please review the attachment QD89-FM200-Inspection Schedule for this information. The Activity column has the required Inspection, Test, and Maintenance labeled with the frequency noted under the Periodic Frequency column.
5. The AoI just says to verify hydro-test dates… Will hydro-testing of the cylinders be required? If so, we will need to know the size and quantity of all the cylinders. Yes, hydrotesting is required. Please review the attachments QD89-FM200-Bldg List and QD89-FM200-Inspection Schedule for this information.
6. Is pricing to be included in the form of basic year plus four option years. In other quotes of this type a requirement to price each building individual is that a requirement here. The brief must include a ROM price sufficient for the Government to assess general affordability per 3.2.1(4) of the Commercial Solutions Opening.
7. What type of maintenance is required and on what items. Please review the attachments QD89-FM200-Bldg List and QD89-FM200-Inspection Schedule for this information.
8. Can you provide detailed information for the suppression systems requiring inspections on this contract. We need to know how much agent, how many detectors, and how many links are on each system to provide an accurate proposal. Please review the attachments QD89-FM200-Bldg List and QD89-FM200-Inspection Schedule for this information.
Additional questions will not be accepted in relation to this AoI.
