Comment Classification: Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI)

Paragraph 5.1.3 states that in order to meet the "Acceptable" definition for specialized experience:

"- The offeror demonstrates experience in Architectural features (doors, walls, flooring, ceiling) that is equivalent to 50,000 SF of space. Experience can either be self-performed work or managing an Architectural subcontractor.

- Installation of HVAC Direct Digital Controls (DDC) totaling 50,000 SF of area. Experience can either be self-performed work or managing an HVAC DDC subcontractor.

- Installation of Interior Electrical totaling 50,000 Sf. Experience can either be self-performed work or managing an Electrical subcontractor."

Paragraph 5.1.2.1. also states: "The experience need not be demonstrated on each project submitted, but all the experience must be demonstrated on the projects submitted."

Please confirm that the above 50,000 SF requirement applies to a combined total square footage of all specialized experience and not a single project. If a single project, would the Government please consider reducing 50,000 SF requirement to 30,000 SF per facility? Since this is an 8(a) set-aside, this will increase competition and participation among qualified 8(a) companies.

On: May 19 2023.

Government Response. . The 50,000 applies to a combination total square footage. The 50,000 can be met through one project or adding square footage up to 5 projects. On: Jun 08 2023 Current Request Status: Request Closed
