About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract W91151-26-Q-A044 regarding the procurement of keys and cores.

The document addresses two primary inquiries from potential contractors. First, it clarifies that Grade One material is required for both keys and cores. Second, it specifies keyway requirements by referencing the Statement of Work Part 4, Section 4.2, Task 2. According to the referenced SOW provisions, keys must be cut on J, K, and M keyways as specified in the contract documentation. Master and control keys require quad-milled cuts on J, K, L, and M operating keys. The response indicates that keyway specifications are detailed in the underlying SOW and that contractors should consult that document for complete cutting specifications and other technical requirements.
