About this file
This document contains a spill contingency plan for a military installation. The plan outlines responsible personnel and contact information, special precautions for buildings, spill response equipment inventory, hazardous material inventory locations, an area site layout map, and spill response and notification procedures. It requires spill reporting to supervisors, environmental officers, and emergency services as needed. It also provides guidance to stop spills, conduct cleanup operations either using unit personnel or contractors as determined by the installation's environmental division, and dispose of spilled materials and residues properly.
