About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for the Uncrewed Aircraft Systems Instruction, Maintenance & Mission Support (UAS-IMMS) Sources Sought Notice (SSN). The Q&A addresses three key clarification questions from potential offerors regarding the solicitation. Key details include a performance period from November 1, 2024, through October 31, 2025, with potential future option years. Submission requirements specify a 12-page maximum response (6 pages for Instruction, 6 pages for Maintenance), with a total of 4 pages for Section III, to be emailed to Kimberly Skinner by May 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM EST. The document provides specific guidance on page allocation across three sections, clarifying that respondents should submit a maximum of 6 pages for Section 1, 6 pages for Section 2, and up to 4 pages for Section III.

UAS/IMMS Questions received the week of 28 April 25

Question 1.

In the body of the description, it states the performance period is expected to commence on November 1, 2024, and continue through October 31, 2025, with potential for future option years, however the sources sought is not even due until late

May 2025.

Can you add some clarity?

Answer: The attached are the current PWSs for the ID/IQ and the TOs. The intent was to give prospective offerors a projection of what is to come in FY26. The program team is still working the formal re-compete PWS requirements and will publish them when complete, for the RFP.

Question 2

I just have a quick clarification question: the UAS IMMS sources sought announcement says a "Maximum 12 pages that will include 6 pages for Instruction and 6 pages for Maintenance).” Does this 12 page limit include the 6 questions in Section III as well?

Answer: Please submit no more than 4 pages for Section III.

Question 3

The instructions do not explicitly state a preferred submission method for this SSN nor an exact due date and time.

a. Could you confirm if responses are to be emailed to the POCs listed on the notice, or is there another preferred response method?

Answer: Email submission to Kimberly Skinner at: Kimberly.C.Skinner@army.mil

b. Are we correct in assuming the due date/time is May 29, 4 pm EDT?

Answer: Date is May 29, 2025 at 4:00 PM EST.

The instructions state a page limit of 12, with 6 pages for Instruction and 6 pages for Maintenance, along with a 3-section organizational structure.

c. Could you please confirm the intended combination of these structure, organizational, and page limit instructions as listed below, or explain the intended structure/organization/page limits?

mailto:Kimberly.C.Skinner@army.mil

i. All three sections are in the 6 pages for Instruction, and again in the 6 pages for Maintenance, for a total of 12 pages

ii. Only Section I is broken into two parts, with 6 pages for Instruction and 6 pages for Maintenance, and Sections II and III are still included in the total 12-page limit

iii. Only Section I is broken into two parts, with 6 pages for Instruction and 6 pages for Maintenance, and Sections II and III are excluded from the 12-page limit

Answer: Submit a maximum of 6 pages for Section 1, Submit a maximum of 6 pages for Section 2 and Up to 4 pages for Section III
