| 1 | Chassis Specifications: Given the EURO 6 pollution class requirement for the Forest Fire Truck, can alternative pollution classes be considered if they meet or exceed environmental standards? | 1 | EURO 5 emission standard. Based on the Albanian regulation, EURO 5 or higher apply to brand new cars with zero kilometers that have never been registered before in any country. |
| 2 | Water and Foam Tank Capacity: For the Forest Fire Truck, is there flexibility in the water and foam tank capacities, provided that the overall firefighting capabilities are not compromised? | 2 | The water tank capacity may vary from 2000 to 3000 liters. |
| 3 | Technical Load Details: Can you provide more detailed specifications on the load-bearing requirements for the Fire Water Tanker Truck? | 3 | The maximum weight off Fire Water Tanker Truck should be 18 tones. |
| 4 | Superstructure Design: Are there specific design requirements or standards for the superstructure of the Forest Fire Truck? | 4 | Design must be tailored for off-road operations, meeting specific requirements for superior performance in challenging terrains. |
Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) in the cabin.
Visual and acoustic vehicle tripping warning system.
Heat protection for all the installations (electrical, pneumatical and hydraulic lines) Underbody protection, for engine differential, gearbox etc.
Spray nozzles for underbody and the driver cab with separate protected water compartment in the tank (usually 300-500liter) pumped by a redundant pumping system.
Combined normal and high-pressure pump preferably 2000l/m @ 10bar and 400l/min @ 40bar, with priming device and Pump and roll function.
Foam proportion system with injection into the outlet with possibility to simultaneously discharge water and foam from different outlets with different proportion ratios.
5 Vehicle Performance: Could you clarify the expected performance metrics for both the Forest Fire Truck and the Fire Water Tanker Truck, particularly in terms of terrain adaptability? 5 The requirement is for optimal performance metrics in both off-road and on-road terrains for the Forest Fire Truck and the Fire Water Tanker Truck. Emphasis should be placed on the Forest Fire Truck's superior off-road capability.
High cross-country capability (HRB Category 3).
| 6 | Equipment Storage Space: What are the minimum storage space requirements for firefighting equipment on the Forest Fire Truck? | 6 | The vehicle should have enough storage capacity to store all equipment and tools for a forest firetruck vehicle 4x4 with water capacity 2000-3000 liters of water. |
| 7 | Delivery Timeline: What is the expected delivery timeline for both vehicles? | 7 | Required delivery date: 12-15 months. |

| 10 | What is the lead time for the supply ? | 10 | The lead time for the supply is 12-15 months. |
| 11 | Will the The Buy American Act of 1933 apply when the solicitation is issued ? | 11 | Since the Fire Trucks will be used OCONUS the Buy America Act of 1933 does not apply. The Fire Trucks will be procured in accordance with FAR Part 25. |
| 12 | SOW reference: 2.1 CHASIS, p1 |
Requirement: Total weight:13.500 Kg
| Would the USG be open to a vehicle with a total weight of 14.000 Kg? | 12 | The answer is uncluded in the attached statement of work (SOW) amendment 1 dated 05March2024. Due to the SOW revision the Government extended the offer due date till 13-MAR-2024. |
| 13 | SOW reference: 2.1 CHASIS, p2 |

| Are only manual transmissions acceptable, or will automatic transmissions also be accepted? | 13 | The answer is uncluded in the attached statement of work (SOW) amendment 1 dated 05March2024. |
| 14 | SOW reference: 2.2 SUPERSTRUCTURE, p4 |
Reuqirement: The equipment spaces will be integrated into the water tank (all made from GRP) on the left and right sides and will be closed with aluminum shutters.
| This statement seems to require that the entire superstructure be made from GRP. Would aluminum be an acceptable alternative material? | 14 | The answer is uncluded in the attached statement of work (SOW) amendment 1 dated 05March2024. |
| 15 | SOW reference: 2.4 FIRE PUMP GODIVA PRIMA 3010, p5 |

3.17 AXLES, p9
3.37 WATER TANK
Requirement: The maximum weight of Fire Water Tanker Truck should be 18 tones.
4x4 - The 4x4 wheel configuration describes a 2-axle vehicle with two driven axles. As all axles are driven, this is also known as an all-wheel drive or all-wheel vehicle.
Capacity: approx. 9.000 l (+/- 5%)
The USG requires a 4x4 vehicle that can hold 9000L of water with an 18-ton max weight. Our initial calculations indicate that these requirements are not compatible.
To maintain a 4x4 vehicle that can hold 9000L the max weight must be increased to 21 tons.
Alternatively, to maintain an 18-ton max weight, the tank capacity could be reduced to 7,500L.
| Can the USG please clarify which standard offers should adhere to? | 18 | The answer is uncluded in the attached statement of work (SOW) amendment 1 dated 05March2024. |

| 20 | SOW reference: 3.1 VEHICLE DESCRIPTION, p6 | |
| Requirement: Engine output: 213 kW (290 hp) | A 290hp engine would be significantly underpowered for a fully loaded 18-ton vehicle. |
| Would the USG accept engines with a higher horsepower? | 20 | The answer is uncluded in the attached statement of work (SOW) amendment 1 dated 05March2024. | ||
| 21 | Could you please specify the preferred format for the submission of documents? Are PDFs acceptable, or do you require links to online documents or a file transfer service like WeTransfer? | 22 | The tender requirements mention that "Three sets (hardcopy-sealed in moisture proof plastic and electronic in an MS Office compatible format) should be provided". Could you clarify if we need to prepare three copies of each document and deliver them to the contracting authority in person if we are declared the winner? | 22 | The documents shall be provided electronically before delivery of the fire trucks and the hardcopies along with the fire trucks. |
| 23 | I just wanted to ask if the subcontractor have to fill out any form, bc i cant find the form. | 23 | There is specific no form/template the subcontractor has to fill out. The offeror must provide a letter of intent from each party on the list demonstrating intent to |

Do you need pricing for these spares? | 24 | Please do not supply the list of equipment mentioned in the SOW page #6 along with the proposal. That information was provided to you because one of the vendors requested an itemized list of all equipment for a forest fire truck to have a better understanding on the storage capacity of the vehicle (see question #16). |
| 25 | Do you need price for list of spare parts mentioned on page#19 of the attached Scope of work | 25 | Yes. Please provide the prices for the spare parts mentioned on page #19 of the SOW |
