Amendment 0002 to Solicitation W519TC26QA181

This document is a Standard Form 30 Amendment of Solicitation issued by Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) for procurement of a Cincinnati Lathe MO Retrofit. The amendment, effective August 28, 2026, extends the solicitation closing date from September 11, 2026 to September 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM Central Standard Time. The solicitation was originally issued under FAR Part 12 for acquisition of commercial products and services in support of Rock Island Arsenal's Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center (RIA-JMTC).

The Government intends to award one Firm Fixed Price (FFP) purchase order to the lowest price, responsive, and responsible contractor. All quotes must include delivery to Rock Island Arsenal, IL 61299, and a Certificate of Conformance is required for all items. Amendment 0002 provides photographs obtained from a site visit and answers eight additional technical questions regarding the existing Cincinnati lathe equipment, including specifications on the current Acramatic 950 CNC control, motor ratings (X-axis 20VDC/1000rpm, 30A; Z-axis 60A), four hydraulic steady rest connection points, latching tailstock capability, and 480-volt AC input power from the overhead bus. Amendment 0001 established a mandatory site visit on September 4, 2026 at 10:00 AM at RIA-JMTC (Gate 8, Building 212) requiring pre-registration with Contract Specialist Andrew Owens by September 3, 2026. Government points of contact are Contract Specialist Andrew Owens (Andrew.m.owens16.civ@army.mil) and Contracting Officer Kelly Hendricks (kelly.d.hendricks5.civ@army.mil). All other terms and conditions remain unchanged and in full effect.
