About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation W50S9H26QA032 concerning the rental of two mobile shower facility trailers for a military exercise at Volk Field from August 18 through September 2. The document does not address specific pricing, response dates, award dates, or contract vehicle information, as it serves solely to clarify technical and operational requirements through government responses to contractor inquiries.
Key requirements established in the Q&A include: commercially available shower stall dimensions are acceptable; individual 30" × 30" changing areas adjacent to each stall are acceptable; sinks may be located outside the trailer under a covered tent; at least one trailer must be ADA-compliant; eight individually accessed shower and changing stations are acceptable in lieu of segregated male/female facilities; and trailers must accommodate individually accessed stations. On-site presence is limited to delivery, setup, and removal personnel only (who must be eligible for military base access with no felony convictions). The government will provide continuous electrical power via two RV-style pedestals located approximately 25 feet from trailer placement, each with one 120V 30-amp single-phase receptacle and one 120V 20-amp GFCI receptacle. Water supply consists of ¾" garden hose-style connections approximately 25 feet from the trailer area, and gravity drainage is available via RV dump station setup. The contractor must furnish all electrical cables, water hoses, gray-water hoses, adapters, pumps, pressure regulators, backflow-prevention devices, and propane or diesel water-heating systems. The contractor is responsible for routine interior cleaning, consumables replenishment, and equipment maintenance during the rental period. No site-access, delivery-hour, trailer-dimension, towing, or placement restrictions are known.

There are 2 RV style pedestals; each pedestal has 1 – 120V 30Amp Single Phase receptacle & 1 – 120V 20 Amp GFCI receptacle. The pedestals are about 25 feet from the trailer placement area.
9. What clean-water pressure, connection size, itting type, and approximate connection distance will be available for each trailer? ¾” Normal Garden hose style. Connection distance is about 25 feet from the trailer placement area.
