QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

1. At building 301 during the site visit it was mentioned to replace the existing air handler unit with a new one rather than a new gas furnace since the building is rarely used in the winter. Please verify which unit is required at B301.

A. Building 301 WILL receive a new gas furnace per the Description of Work within the Statement of Work. Gas supply line and meter will be installed by the utility company, supply from the meter stand to the new furnace will be completed by contractor. CE (Utility Co) will try to have this in beforehand however, as noted supply and meter may or may not be installed at time of system installation.

2. Evaporator coils, would N-coil configuration in place of A-coil be acceptable? This will allow for additional height installing cased coils.

A. Yes, it is acceptable as long as the rating (tonnage) is the same and meets the requirements per the

Description of Work within the Statement of Work. Coils must be a matched set with the condenser.
