About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for a federal lodging services contract solicitation.
The Government seeks lodging services with all rooms required to be maintained under the same hotel for the entire contract period. Cancellation policy terms will be negotiated between the contractor and lodging provider, with no specific Government requirement mandated. Lodging services are anticipated to be tax-exempt, and the Government will provide applicable tax exemption documentation upon award. Total room nights for each Contract Line Item (CLIN) are outlined in a separate Pricing Spreadsheet. The incumbent contractor is Candi Thomas of MDR Services under contract number W50S9C-26-P-A001, with an approximately equivalent scope and size. Third-party vendors are permitted to bid on this contract; however, they must disclose their hotel subcontractor(s) as all facilities must be inspected and approved by security forces and public health authorities. The Government anticipates awarding the contract approximately one week after the submission deadline.
