W50S98-24-B-0009 PSXE 242020 Repair TEC Physical Fitness Area Pre-Bid Questions

1. On drawing C2.3, detail A1 shows the fence called out as 10' high and 5' high sections. Note #1 states "ALL CHAIN LINK FENCE TO BE 2" MESH, 9 GAUGE, 6' HIGH POLYMER COATED STEEL FABRIC MEETING ASTM F668 WITH KNUCKLED TOP AND BOTTOM SELVAGES." Please clarify the intended heights of the proposed fence.

Please disregard the Note #1 reference to “6’ high” and refer to the Plan view on Detail A1 for the locations of the 10’ high and 5’high sections of fencing.

2. On drawing C2.1, detail F4 shows a post-tensioned concrete court. This method would be significantly more costly than a traditional cast in place 4" inch thick concrete slab with welded wire mesh. If it is anticipated to have foot traffic only then we would recommend a traditional cast in place 4" inch thick concrete slab with welded wire mesh for a more economical cost than a post-tension slab.

Please bid per the drawings and specifications.
