About this file
This document is a set of bid questions and answers related to Solicitation W50S98-24-B-0007 for the PSXE 242030 Repair Joint Seals & Water Tank project.
The key details are:
- The solicitation requires the contractor to provide and place FAA low profile crushable barriers with solar powered lights at the taxiway edge adjacent to the runway during construction activities. However, this requirement has been clarified to only apply to the Lower Aircraft Parking Apron area, not the G1-G4 areas mentioned in the drawings.
- Proposals must be hand-carried or sent via overnight service to the address of 240 Briscoe Drive, Louisville, TN 37772, Attention to SSgt Kristen Phipps, TSgt Brian Morelock, or 134th MSC. It is strongly encouraged to send an email notification that a mailed bid is on the way.
- The contractor is required to contain all surface preparation and painting materials within the site, which may necessitate a containment system around the water tank. Incomplete bids that do not price all required items will not be considered.
- The government will provide a coatings inspector for this project. It is unclear if the orange "Power T" logo needs to be reinstalled on the roof of the water tank.
