About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) amendment related to a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for lodging services within 15 miles of Joe Foss Field in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The RFQ is a combined synopsis/solicitation issued by the Department of the Army National Guard. The RFQ is set-aside 100% for small businesses under NAICS code 721110 Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels.
The Q&A covers topics such as providing exhibits, allowing third-party travel management companies, room guarantees, complimentary breakfast, single or multiple awards, tax exemption forms, parking requirements, pullout beds, special event pricing, reservation rosters, contract start/end dates, current incumbents, and hotel rating requirements. Responses indicate that the government will provide revised attachments, allow third-party vendors, require blocked rooms, not mandate complimentary breakfast, and award one or more BPAs. Overall, the Q&A provides clarification on various aspects of the lodging BPA requirements.
