About this file

The document is an "Industry Questions" file for Solicitation W50S9325Q0090 regarding Vehicle Corrosion Prevention Undercarriage Rustproofing services. The file contains three specific questions and answers from potential vendors, all of which result in definitive "No" responses from the government. The questions address three key points: (1) whether exceptions will be considered for the vehicle service facility location requirement in Puerto Rico, (2) whether on-site quotes at the 156th Wing will be considered, and (3) whether a site visit exception could be made. In each case, the government firmly states that no exceptions will be permitted and no alternative approaches will be considered.

The underlying solicitation is a 100% small business set-aside for corrosion control services at Muniz ANG Base in Carolina, Puerto Rico, with a NAICS code of 811121 and a small business size standard of $9,000,000. The procurement will result in one firm-fixed price contract, with responses to be evaluated and awarded without discussions. Potential vendors must have a CAGE code and be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). The government intends to select a single contractor to perform offsite vehicle undercarriage rustproofing services, with strict requirements regarding facility location and service delivery.
