About this file

This is a Request for Information (RFI) and corresponding government response for federal contract W50S8C26QA006, dated 16 April 2026.

A prospective contractor inquired about workload estimates for meal service operations, seeking clarification on the anticipated range of personnel and meals expected per drill weekend to inform pricing and planning decisions. The contractor noted that historical workload data referenced in Technical Exhibit 3 was not provided in the solicitation documents and requested additional insight into average headcount, variability between drill weekends, and expected surge scenarios to assess operational feasibility. The government's response indicates that Technical Exhibit 3 contains estimated workload data based on historical usage, with monthly fluctuations dependent on current mission requirements across the base. The scope of work involves meal service one weekend per month (two days), primarily supporting lunch service during regularly scheduled drills.

RFI #1

16 APRIL 2026

1. Based on the PWS, it appears the scope consists of meal service one weekend per month (two days), primarily supporting lunch service during regularly scheduled drills. As we did not see historical workload data provided in Technical Exhibit 3, we wanted to confirm whether there is an anticipated or typical range of personnel/meals expected per drill weekend that we should be using for planning and pricing purposes.

Any additional insight into average headcount, variability between drill weekends, or expected surge scenarios would be extremely helpful as we assess whether this opportunity aligns with our operational scale

1a Technical exhibit 3 shows our estimated workload based off our historical usage.

The numbers fluctuate each month dependent on current mission requirements across the base.
