About this file
This is a Questions & Answers document for federal contract opportunity W50S8626BA004, issued by the Contracting Officer on August 10, 2026, for maintaining base roads at Alpena CRTC.
The document addresses two clarifications regarding the solicitation. First, it explains a discrepancy between road quantities and double fog seal areas listed on page 3 of the solicitation: the fog seal quantity of 131,235 square yards represents one application, and this quantity is doubled to 262,470 square yards to account for the requirement to apply a double fog seal (two applications). Second, the document confirms that bids may be submitted via FedEx to 5884 A Street, Alpena, MI 49707, provided they are addressed to the Contracting Officer and received by the deadline specified in the Bid Opening notice; late bids will not be accepted.
